Wellness in the Wild: Hike and Heal
Hosted by: The Open Circle Foundation in partnership with The Veteran Mentor Project Inc
Sespe Wilderness | Ventura County, CA
Step out of the routine and into the wild.
Join other local Veterans for a day in the Sespe Wilderness—time to reconnect with your tribe, breathe deep, and experience the healing power of nature right in our own backyard.
What to Expect
This guided day hike is a chance to step away from the noise and reconnect—with yourself, your fellow Veterans, and the land. Together, we’ll walk, reflect, and share stories of service, transition, and resilience. No pressure. No agenda. Just time to move, talk, and take in the beauty around us.
*The hike will be 4 miles round trip
Who It’s For?
All Veterans are welcome—whether you’re newly out of service or years into civilian life. You don’t need hiking experience, just a willingness to show up and walk alongside others who get it.
