Walking Wild Monthly Circle: Shelter-The Body as Our Home

  • Open Circle Foundation PO Box 1233 Brookings, OR, 97415 United States (map)

We gather this month under the theme of Shelter, inviting us to reflect on how we protect, nourish, and insulate ourselves through life’s seasons.

You are your shelter. Just as a physical shelter keeps us safe and alive in any environment, our bodies—these remarkable vessels—are the home for our spirits. We are not only our bodies, yet they are our essential companions, our partners in this life’s journey.

🛖 What layers do we carry?
Like layers of clothing, our beliefs, habits, and stories shape the ways we interact with the world. Some layers keep us warm, others shield us from harsh winds. Yet sometimes we carry layers we no longer need—old fears, defenses, and habits that weigh us down or keep us closed off.

🧥 What is serving us—and what is holding us back?

Walking Wild is more than a journey—it’s a way of being. It’s choosing to live boldly, guided by your values, unshaken by external noise, expectations, or the search for the “right” answers.

In this listening circle, we will pause to truly listen—to each other’s stories, to the wisdom of those committed to this path, and to the call within ourselves to keep using our voices and gifts in the world.

What to expect:
✨ Meaningful conversations with diverse women leaders
✨ A space for open hearts, deep listening, and shared wisdom
✨ A celebration of the journey—yours, ours, and the collective

Come as you are. Let’s walk wild together.
